Call for Inaugural Members

The 2026-2027 Founding Cohort Nominations are Now Open.

1. The Inaugural Call for Founding Members

2026 marks the inaugural year of the International Society of Applied Science, Technology and Engineering (ISASTE). To build a robust, globally representative leadership foundation, we are currently extending exclusive invitations to world-class principal investigators, researchers, and industrial pioneers to join our Founding Cohort.

Becoming an inaugural member of ISASTE is an extraordinary opportunity to shape the strategic trajectory of a rising global academic cooperative. Founding members will play a decisive role in establishing our Technical Program Committees (TPCs), guiding our initial series of international conferences, and setting the gold standard for our rigorous double-blind peer review protocols.

2. Privileges of ISASTE Membership

Membership in ISASTE is a mark of professional distinction. We offer a platform where active contributors can amplify their academic impact. Validated members enjoy the following privileges:

  • Academic Leadership & Recognition: Eligible Ph.D. holders are prioritized for prestigious appointments as Conference Co-Chairs, Technical Program Committee (TPC) members, and Keynote/Invited Speakers at ISASTE-supported international symposia.
  • Strategic Governance: Regular and Senior Members possess voting rights to shape the long-term scientific trajectory of the society. Members are encouraged to propose special sessions, initiate regional workshops, and suggest focal themes for upcoming conferences.
  • Official Certification: Upon approval, members receive an official, verifiable digital certificate denoting their specific membership grade (e.g., Founding Member, Senior Member). This credential serves as a robust endorsement of their scientific achievements for professional portfolios.
  • Vetted Academic Networking: Access to a strictly curated, Ph.D.-level global community. This fosters an environment of high trust, enabling scholars to establish cross-border research partnerships, co-author international grants, and organize joint special issues.

3. Membership Grades and Ph.D. Requirements

To fiercely protect the scientific prestige of our society, ISASTE enforces a strict, merit-based entry threshold. We do not accept undergraduate students. All applicants are evaluated by the Executive Board based on their verifiable research output.

  • Student Member: Exclusively for active Master's and Ph.D. candidates. Requires proof of enrollment from an accredited institution.
  • Regular Member: Requires a completed Ph.D. in a STEM field. (Note: Only Regular Members and above are legally permitted to conduct peer reviews for ISASTE proceedings.)
  • Senior Member: Requires a minimum of 10 years of post-doctoral research experience and a proven track record of scientific leadership.
  • Founding Fellow: Currently by nomination and direct invitation only. Reserved for internationally acclaimed scholars willing to serve on our Advisory Committee during this inaugural phase.

4. How to Apply or Nominate

In strict alignment with our Open Science mandate, ISASTE does not charge any membership or initiation fees. Membership is granted strictly on the basis of academic merit and verifiable research contributions.
